We’ve mentioned before in other case studies how rewarding customer recommendations are and the following one is no different. 

Specialist professional training and management provider Skills2Share, based in Newark, Nottinghamshire came our way as a result of a client/supplier, no other than our company accountants, thanks guys!

At the time (2008) Skills2Share had already experienced design and marketing services from several marketing agencies in and around the Newark location, however as they explained to Chameleon “we just don't seem to be able to get it right”. Julie Bell, Skills2Share’s M.D. went onto to express how the previous agencies had struggled to understand their business and offer effective and affordable marketing tools to assist them in promoting their niche services.

Here was a challenge…often trying to conquer where others have failed can be daunting, however from experience it can often be down to taking the time to listen and understand precisely what the clients business offers - and to what type of customers, plus appreciating their competitors and analysing what they’re doing to target the same audience.

Our initial meeting with Skills2Share, at our Doncaster office brought to light many ideas, both from Chameleon as well as Julie and Nigel. Skills2Share was still a new-ish business at that time and Julie’s enthusiasm shone through with her willingness to experiment with new marketing ideas that could help them to Stand Out.

Chameleon soaked up the information and produced Skills2Share with a marketing strategy that would kick start a new campaign as well as work into the future. 

Work began on refining their current brand and quickly transposed this into a new CMS website, having the ability to update their own website was a new feature for Skills2Share. Previously, every single update had to go back to the developers which they found to be slow and costly, so to have control over the website content, images, news etc… was exciting stuff.

Believe it or not, but the same website is still in use and live today - although Skills2Share do plan to update it later this year. In addition to this, Chameleon have continued to work closely with Julie producing company stationery, design and printing of brochures and folders - creating email marketing campaigns as well as exhibition displays and graphics.

And to prove that one recommendation can lead to another or more in this case, Skills2Share have been a true advocate for Chameleon and regularly make recommendations to other businesses.
