Rotherham based Cornerstones Education have been one of Chameleon’s most rapid growing clients during the past 3 years and we like to think our creative and marketing skills have assisted this growth.

When we first met with Cornerstones, they had already engaged the services for a website from a Barnsley based web developer but they required marketing assistance to help them communicate with their target market, schools and education.

At the time, a high proportion of the Cornerstones team were ex. teachers so they obviously knew the education jargon but not necessarily how to deliver the right marketing message.

This was a new sector for Chameleon as we had not previously experienced marketing to schools and education and from some initial research and conversations with Cornerstones, it was evident that it was going to be slightly different from the typical B2B marketing that we and most of our clients require.

Work commenced after producing a marketing strategy and plan for Cornerstones and we identified 2 key areas for creative communication - personalised printed mailers and personalised email marketing both directing the recipient to a new micro-site.

Although both of these methods are used widely within business, very few go to the expense and additional effort to really personalise information when contacting prospective clients. The mailer design and email design were both approved and each campaign executed simultaneously for maximum effect.

Due to the success of these campaigns, Cornerstones asked Chameleon to turn our attention to a new company website as they had started to realise the site they had was weak in comparison to the sites we design and develop for other clients.

After several meetings of which many ideas were starting to be discussed we eventually drafted a new site plan for the proposed website. In comparison to the existing website, the new website was much more advanced containing custom built functions, such as: integrated maps, multi-function download section, video, flip style pdf’s, customisable advert banners - all of which were developed into Chameleon’s very own content management system.

Cornerstones Education continue to use the same website today, 3 years on, which demonstrates that investing in a professional, flexible, custom developed website can add value to most businesses allowing your marketing to grow as your business does.
